Supplier Quality Engineer

• Evaluate and qualify suppliers according to the company's quality standards
• Regularly audit suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance with quality requirements.
• Supervise the testing and inspection of raw materials and components.
• Analyze production processes and propose improvements to optimize product quality.
• Lead the PQF (Products Quality Forms) actions associate to the European Suppliers
• Identify, document, and analyze quality defects at different stage flow of the life cycle
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures specific to the jewelry & Home and Accessorize industry.
• Conduct product reviews to collect and analyze data to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet quality requirements.
• Participate in product development projects to integrate quality standards from the design phase.
• Prepare and review supplier quality metrics in Europe to drive improvement.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement among suppliers and within the company.
• Work with key stakeholders of Internal Manufacturing to identify best practices across all manufacturing facilities (external and internal)

YOUR profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field is typically required.
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance or similar role
• Capable of collecting and analyzing data to help drive root cause
• Practical knowledge and experience in leading containment and root cause activities
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Familiarity with statistical analysis
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in English; written and oral, French a strong plus
• Proficient in MS Office tools; Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Minitab or similar stats tool, reading Prints / CAD / 3d Models
